Both dangerous driving and death by dangerous driving are grave offences that can lead to imprisonment and a driving disqualification. Additionally, you may be required to undergo an extended re-test as part of your sentence. Therefore, it is crucial to seek legal advice as promptly as possible.

Varieties of Consequences
In a Magistrates’ Court, dangerous driving can result in an unlimited fine and/or up to 6 months' imprisonment. When tried in a Crown Court, the maximum sentence for dangerous driving is 2 years' imprisonment. Those convicted of dangerous driving could face a minimum 12-month driving disqualification and be mandated to take an extended re-test.
